Top Teams with no Domestic League Titles

There are many teams that get good amount of media attention although they are not as big as the top or elite ones in Europe. These teams are relatively popular and made a lot of stars despite they never won domestic league titles.

Here is a list of such teams chosen from Europe's biggest 4 leagues:

1.   Bayer Leverkusen – They almost won the UEFA Champions League in 2002, but they lost the final to Real Madrid when Zidane struck his wonderful goal.

2.   West Ham United – They won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1965 and they 3 times FA Cup winners, but they never won the league. Their best place in the ranking table was 3^rd.

3.   Udinese Calcio – They are one of the teams that made a lot of stars, yet they have never won the Serie A title.

4.   Parma – One of the best teams during Italy's golden age. They used to be title contenders during 1990s but they never won it.

5.   Villareal – Yellow Submarines used to be one of the toughest teams when they had Forlan, Cazorla and others.

6.   RCD Espanyol – It's another Catalan Club. They never won the La Liga title; they just watched their rivals winning it frequently.
